Dr. Anthony Mann is an experienced educational leader with more than three decades in K-12 education, focusing on school administration, policy compliance, and student success initiatives. With experience overseeing district operations in urban, suburban, and rural communities, he has served as Superintendent of Schools since 2012. 

Dr. Mann holds a Doctorate in Education (D.Ed.) from the University of Oregon and has extensive experience in:

• Student Success: Systems to provide for students' social and emotional wellbeing, including school-based mental health and addiction recovery support systems.
• Student Opportunity: Promoting access to quality education and resources that support academic achievement.
• School Safety & Student Well-being: Preventing and responding to misconduct, including bullying, harassment and intimidation.
• Policy Compliance: Local, state, and federal education regulations, including IDEA and Title IX compliance, sexual misconduct and other investigations.
• Human Resources: Recruiting, training, and evaluating school administrators, educators, and support staff.
• Recovery High Schools & Adolescent Mental Health: Supporting students in recovery from substance use disorders through program development and policy advocacy.

Dr. Mann has held leadership positions in multiple school districts, including Molalla River Schools (Superintendent), Reynolds School District (Assistant Superintendent & Principal), and McMinnville School District (Principal). His work has involved managing curriculum development, student services, and operational oversight.

As an adjunct faculty member at the University of Oregon, he teaches courses in Education Policy Analysis and Leadership for Student Success, contributing to the development of future education leaders.

Dr. Mann frequently participates in education conferences and policy discussions, providing insight on leadership strategies, data-driven decision-making, and student support systems. He has testified before the Oregon Legislature on education initiatives and serves on multiple advisory boards, including:

• Governor’s Child & Family Mental Health Advisory Member (2024-Present)
• OEBB Board Member (Governor Appointment, 2024-Present)
• Oregon Department of Education Recovery Schools Advisory Board (2024-Present)

Dr. Mann is also a Founder & Board Member of the Oregon Recovery High School Initiative, supporting educational pathways for students in recovery.

Throughout his career, Dr. Mann has focused on improving educational systems through leadership, policy development, and student-centered initiatives. His experience in school administration and governance reflects a commitment to effective district management and student achievement.
